The pen trembles in my hand
Racing thoughts sharpening my vision
Pressing into a bone white sheet
Moving swiftly across that sterile surface
Visions of the mind come alive
Fabulous fables taking shape
Getting to know people whom never existed till now
An indomitable Hero
That inspiring Heroine
Every unique ally met along the way
Upon a never tiring crusade
To end the terror that is their enemy
The spiteful antagonist
And every loyal helper attempting to throw our heroes off the beaten path
My mind is my sanctuary
Ideas like soft notes plucked upon the delicate strings of a Harp
And in that moment
I am more fully at peace

A piece I came up with late into the night while I was trying to get some sleep. I think it can be interpreted however one chooses. I suppose it's about creativity.
